What is a Holter screen?
A Holter screen is an easy test that records your heart’s electrical movement constantly for one to two days. A Holter screen is a more drawn out adaptation of an EKG (electrocardiogram). It assists your PCP with diagnosing and screen strange pulses (cardiovascular arrhythmias) and diminished blood supply to the heart muscle (myocardial ischemia).
A Holter screen can recognize unusual pulses and other strange EKG changes that a standard EKG can miss. Standard EKGs just record the heart’s electrical action for a brief timeframe. A constant Holter screen is bound to distinguish anomalies that happen intermittently.
